Roger Trewenack | Managing Director
Roger is the Managing Director of Traffic and Parking Surveys. Roger has worked in the area of traffic and parking surveys for 11 years initially working as a Senior Field Officer installing traffic classifiers and over 10 years managing the surveys teams. Prior to commencing with John Piper Traffic in 2002 Roger worked in IT hardware and software support for Coles Myer for 20 years. Consequently Roger has significant experience in managing and coordinating surveys and the related computer support and detailed analysis of the outputs.
Andi Li | Director, Field Operations
Andy is the Director of Field Operations at Traffic and Parking Surveys Pty Ltd. Andy has in excess of 7 years’ experience in traffic and parking surveys and has developed significant skills in managing and coordinating all types of traffic and parking surveys. Andy is an expert in deploying the many varieties of monitoring equipment used by TAPS in a safe and unobtrusive manner that maximizes the accuracy of information collected.
Stephen Cropley | Director, Technology
Stephen, through Transmetric, is a Director of Traffic and Parking Surveys. Stephen holds a bachelor of Engineering from Monash University and worked with the Australian Road Research Board for several years before moving to Transmetric (www.transmetric.com) where he has since led the development of “Traffic Server” and related software products. Stephen is tasked with ensuring that TAPS is continually using the world’s best technologies and techniques available to produce intelligent transportation information.
Gemma Gregory | Technical Officer
Gemma Gregory is a key TAPS administrative & technical officer, and has over 4 years of experience in performing & conducting traffic and parking surveys. Gemma also assists in the running of the business, production of TAPS reports, and the provision of quotes to clients.
Robert Young | Field Technician
Robert works in deployment of monitoring equipment in the field and is trained in data collection techniques.
Scalable Field Team
Often the size of a survey project requires many additional casual field technicians, and Andy and Roger call on an extensive pool of casual staff chosen from labour hire and other sources, to help deliver results in a timely manner.
No matter how many TAPS employs, the core team overseeing the process ensures a high quality of all our data products.
John Piper | Special Consultant
John has in excess of 30 years’ experience in traffic engineering, surveys design and management. Although John is officially “retired”, he is available through TAPS to assist in the design of surveys. TAPS is indebted to John for his vision and leadership throughout 2010 – 2013.
